weekly roundup

September 19, 2025

life update: today, i conclude my first week at my new job! the first two days were a bit awkward. i had hours at two different locations so i had to do some traveling and one time i totally screwed up clocking in (forgot to switch sites on my work iPad) (i think it’s nuts that I have a work anything). i was reviewing policy and my job expectation is 90% productivity. can i do it? probably, but it’s going to take me a few to figure out time management. i like my coworkers for the most part, although i definitely have a preference for location. both gyms available are really cold lol.

note: bigger blogpost to document thoughts and progress on understanding what the hell im doing here.

i created three buttons the other day with html and css after taking a look at sadgirlonline’s button maker and taking a screenshot of my results to put into the asset folder. the button maker has a feature to make an image of the button, but i find it to be low quality and currently the screenshot method captures what i want. however this method does involve painstakingly adjusting the parameters of the capture box.

weekly roundup

September 10, 2025

life update: this past week has been jam-packed with things to do, people to call, and forms to sign. my gf and i started the month by getting the keys to our new apartment. we’re paying double rent for the old and the new places because the idea was to use this whole month to deep clean. however, on the 2nd, we woke up with bed bugs.
